Machine Embroidery Fun with Accuquilt
Choose one applique or choose them all! You will cut the appliques with our Accuquilt machine, then have fun decorating them with your embroidery machine. Prior use of an Accuquilt machine is not required.
Bring your embroidery machine and we will have Accuquilt cutters, dies, and embroidery patterns for you to try! Choose from three different applique shapes- Cactus, Beehive, or Hedgehog OR just make all three!
This is the perfect class if you're new to applique or if you're curious about how an Accuquilt will fit with your machine embroidery.
Most designs fit in a 5 x 7 hoop. To stitch the beehive and bee, you will need at least at 7 X 11 hoop or you can use a 5 x 7 hood and do multiple hoopings.
Supplies to Bring:
Background Fabric , approximately 1 Yard
SF101 Interfacing to back Background Fabric, 1 Yard
Fabric scraps for applique
Heat & Bond Lite for applique pieces 1 Yard
Embroidery Thread to match applique fabric
Powermesh Cutaway Stabilizer or stablizer of your choice
Embroidery machine with embroidery foot, cord, embroidery module
5 X 7, 7X11 or larger hoop for beehive.
