Modern Foundation Piecing with Legit Patterns
Join us for this 3 Class Session-
We will learn how to organize the foundation papers, fabrics and Pattern pieces so you are ready to sew for the 1st class. During the second class and third classes, we will begin the process of sewing the fabric to the foundation papers, making blocks and sewing blocks together. All three classes are in the one low price of $49.99.
Classes are 10 a.m-4 p.m , Wednesdays, September 16th, September 30th and October 14th
Supplies Needed for Class 1:
Before class, you will need to copy the pattern pieces onto foundation paper. Copy the pattern pieces onto single sided regular copier paper then copy onto foundation paper piecing paper.
-Any Legit Kit can be used. Chip the Goldfinch and Toasty the Dragon are available at Patchwork Plus
File Folders for each of the Fabrics and File Labels for each of the Fabrics included in the kit (you can find them at the Dollar Store
A Box to hold your file folders.
Paper Scissors, pen and Paper
Supplies for Classes 2-3:
Sewing machine in good working condition, cord, foot
General sewing supplies ( don't forget your seam ripper)
Gray Thread ex. Aurifil 1246
Small iron and ironing mat.
Paper and Fabric Scissors
Best press spray bottle
Frixion Pen and White Marking Pen (Clover)
Flower head Pins -20 pc
Fabric Clips- at least 12
Light Box
Add a Quarter Ruler 12"
Clapper or Acorn Easy Press Pen
12" x 12" piece of parchment paper
Scotch Tape.
Have your Legit Kit with Pieces Cut out on Foundation paper and Fabrics organized and labeled.
