It’s made using traditional piecing , and the thorough instructions include a technique for speeding up the assembly of half square triangles. The quilt is set on point, but the diagrams make that easy to achieve.
The finished size is 68” x 68”, which is perfect for a large throw. The design is scrap-friendly.
