Beginning Quilting Course
In this series of six classes you will learn to make a quilt from start to finish, from how to choose fabric and use quilting tools, to piecing, to sewing, quilting and binding your own first project. The class is hands-on, and requires a sewing machine with a 1/4" foot and walking foot.
We will be making a Split Rail quilt that measures approximately 40” x 40”. It is perfect for a wall hanging, a small lap quilt or a baby blanket.
Class 1: How to Begin
Class 2: Basic Rotary Cutting and Basic Piecing
Class 3: Pressing and Sewing Components
Class 4: Borders
Class 5: Machine Quilting
Class 6: Binding

For the first class, you will need a pencil, paper, and the book Start Quilting with Alex Anderson
In the first video we will discuss the tools you will need for quilting
